3 Injured In West Suburban Crash

CAROL STREAM, Ill. (STNG) ― Three people were hospitalized Thursday afternoon in an auto accident in west suburban Carol Stream.

The crash happened about 2:45 p.m. at North County Farm Road and Birchbark Trail, according to police and fire dispatchers.

Preliminary information indicates that three people were taken to Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield with unknown injuries, Don Lay, public information officer for the Carol Stream Fire Protection District, said.

Additional details were not immediately available.

Police and fire crews remained on the scene as of 4 p.m.
