Reward Up To $47,000 In Christmas Day Murder
Anonymous Donations Double Reward Fund In Search For West Suburban Woman's Killer

The reward fund has increased to $47,000 for information leading to the person who murdered a 24-year-old woman west suburban on Christmas Day.
"During the past few weeks several private donors, all who want to remain anonymous, have come forward with cash pledges ranging from $1,000 to $18,000 in an effort to help us bring this case to a successful conclusion," said Sheriff John E. Zaruba in a statement.
Lauren Kiefer of unincorporated Oakbrook Terrace was found dead in her home after a family gathering on Christmas.
Police do not know yet if this was a targeted or random act.
