Peterson May Appear On Nevada Brothel Reality Show

HBO's 'Cathouse' Offers Him A Role

BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (CBS) ― As the investigation presses on into the death and disappearance of two of his former wives, Drew Peterson may be escaping to take a new job at a brothel in Nevada.

Glenn Selig, publicist for the former Bolingbrook police sergeant, confirms that Peterson has been offered a role in the HBO reality show "Cathouse."

The show is set on the Moonlite BunnyRanch about 35 miles south of Reno. The description for the DVD of the series says: "In addition to up-close-and-personal interviews with Ranch management and the women who work there… 17 half-hour episodes will utilize hidden cameras in the brothel's party rooms to eavesdrop on customers and working girls before, during and after sex."

For an example of typical subject matter, an upcoming edition of the show revolves around the ménage à trois.

BunnyRanch owner Dennis Hoff on Wednesday said Peterson was invited to spend the upcoming weekend at the brothel to discuss Hoff's job offers.

Besides the "Cathouse" series, Hoff said he has proposed hiring Peterson to head the brothel's security detail.

Peterson's fourth wife, Stacy, disappeared in October 2007. Peterson has maintained ever since that she ran off voluntarily with another man, but Illinois State Police have described her disappearance as a "potential homicide."

Peterson's third wife, Kathleen Savio, was found dead in a dry bathtub in 2004. Her death was originally ruled an accident, but was reclassified as a homicide after her body was exhumed following Stacy's disappearance.

While he has not been charged with any crimes, Peterson is being investigated in both cases. Savio's family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against him last month that indicated they believe he killed her.

Since notoriety began to surround his name, Peterson has courted media attention on a regular basis, making several appearances on network morning news and talk shows and proclaiming his innocence. In early 2008, Peterson even planned to appear on a dating game on Steve Dahl's radio show, although Dahl later canceled the stunt.

Peterson was also cast into the national spotlight this past winter, when girlfriend Christina Raines moved in with him and they announced plans to marry, prompting an irate response from Raines' father. Raines has since moved out of Peterson's house.

Recently, former Gov. Rod Blagojevich was offered a role in a reality show too. NBC wanted to give him a part in "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here," set in Costa Rica. Blagojevich faces federal corruption charges, and a judge told him he couldn't go, but he has still been taking part in promotions for the show.
