Car Crashes Into 2 Minn. Homes, Lands In Kitchen

The car became lodged in the kitchen. The driver was pinned inside his car for 15 minutes and taken to Regions hospital. He is expected to survive.

Some Woodbury residents got a startling wake-up call early Friday.
Around 1:30 a.m, police say a speeding car went airborne came crashing through the garage of one unit in a townhouse complex. The car then crashed through the wall and into the kitchen of an adjoining unit.
The car became lodged in the kitchen. The driver was pinned inside his car for 15 minutes and taken to Regions hospital. He is expected to survive.
There were three people inside the two town homes. Police said they were not injured.
Authorities are investigating why the driver of the car lost control of the vehicle and if alcohol was a factor.
