New Christmas Tree Coming To Macy's

CHICAGO (CBS) ― Traditions are important for many during the holiday season, and one of the most beloved Chicago traditions is the Christmas tree in the Walnut Room at the former Marshall Field's.

The store at 111 N. State St. is now Macy's, and there will still be a Christmas tree, but it will not be the Field's tree.

Instead, the tree is being built by Macy's. The store will begin putting it together later Monday, and lights and decorations will be added on Tuesday.

The tree will have ornaments by star fashion designer Vera Wang.
