Teen Girl Suffers Graze Wound In S. Side Shooting

CHICAGO (STNG) ― A 16-year-old girl suffered a graze wound following a shooting Thursday evening in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

A girl was shot about 5:45 p.m. on the 6600 block of South Winchester Avenue, police News Affairs Officer JoAnn Taylor said.

The girl suffered a graze wound, she said.

The girl was transported in good condition to Holy Cross Medical Center, according to Fire Media Affairs Chief Kevin MacGregor.

Police remain at the scene Thursday evening.
