Man Found Dead In South Side Alley

CHICAGO (STNG) ― A 25-year-old man was found fatally shot in an alley Thursday morning in the South Side's South Shore neighborhood.

Police found the man dead in an alley in the 6700 block of South Jeffery Boulevard about 10:04 a.m., according to a report from the police First Deputy Superintendent's office.

The man, 25, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head, police said.

The unidentified man was shot multiple times at 6741 S. Jeffery Blvd., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. A pronouncement time was not available.

Police have no information regarding an offender or a motive Thursday night.

Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
