Over 20 Gallons Of Gasoline Spilled In Rogers Park

Fire Crews Called To Gas Station

CHICAGO (STNG) ― Fire crews are on the scene of a Rogers Park neighborhood gas station Saturday night after more than 20 gallons of gasoline spilled on the ground.

A Level 1 HazMat response was called for a gas station near Touhy Avenue and Sheridan Road about 7 p.m. after more than 20 gallons of gas spilled at the location, according to Fire Media Affairs spokesman Richard Rosado.

No injuries were reported on the scene and crews continued to work to clean up the spill at 7:10 p.m., Rosado said.

The cause of the spill was not immediately known.
