Antoine Walker's Home Burglarized
A Vehicle, Cash and Jewelry Stolen From Residence
CHICAGO (CBS) ―
Police are investigating a robbery at Antoine Walker's River North home Monday night, as CBS 2's Dana Kozlov reports.
About 6:30 p.m., a robbery was reported at a home on the 400 block of West Huron Street, according to police News Affairs Sgt. Eugene Mullins.
Sources told CBS 2, the home belongs to NBA player Antoine Walker. Police aren't saying much, but they did say a vehicle, cash and jewelry were reported stolen from the residence.
Three people were reportedly in the house at the time; sources say they may have been tied up. But that was not confirmed.
Walker grew up in Chicago and has played for the NBA for a decade. He curently plays for the Miami Heat. Neighbors say he moved into the house just a few months ago.
No injuries were reported regarding the burglary.
The robbery is still under investigation.
