No Trial Date Yet In R. Kelly Child Porn Trial

CHICAGO (AP) ― R&B star R. Kelly is due back in court for another hearing on September 28.

But Cook County Judge Vincent Gaughan hasn't set a trial date in the child pornography case against Kelly. And at a morning hearing, Gaughan gave no indication he will any time soon.

Kelly was indicted five years ago, but his trial has been postponed several times. It was most recently set to start September 17 but was delayed because the lead prosecutor recently had a baby.

Gaughan says Kelly's next hearing will be to weigh several defense motions, including whether to allow testimony from a doctor on the ages of those seen in the sex tape at the center of the case.

Kelly has pleaded not guilty.
