Body Found In Van In Oak Brook Parking Lot

OAK BROOK, Ill. (STNG) ― A body was found in a van in a west suburban parking lot Wednesday morning, and police are on the scene investigating.

The body was found in the 2000 block of Clearwater Drive, near I-88 in Oak Brook, police said.

A witness said six squad cars were on the scene and the body appeared to be in the van's driver's seat. The van has been in the parking lot since at least Monday, a witness said.
The DuPage County Coroner's office has been notified of a fatality and has a representative at the scene, but a spokesman had no other information as of 11:20 a.m.
