Multi-Car Crash Involving Extrication In Suburbs

NORTHBROOK (Sun-Times Media Wire) ― Police remain on the scene of a multi-vehicle crash involving an extrication Tuesday night in north suburban Northbrook.

The crash happened in the vicinity of Lake Cook and Lee roads about 6:15 p.m., a Northbrook police dispatcher said.

Several vehicles were involved in the crash, which caused one vehicle to strike a light pole, the dispatcher said.

Traffic is moving in the area, but the light pole that was struck is not operating, the dispatcher said.
