GRAYSLAKE, Ill. (CBS) ― A far north suburban track coach has been charged with sexually abusing a 17-year-old girl.

Klint Wescom works as track coach at Grayslake Central High School. He has been charged with one count of criminal sexual assault and one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, police said.

School officials called police after the 17-year-old student was assaulted on May 5, officials said.

Wescom was arrested on Saturday and was freed on $10,000 bond Monday.

Police said they do not believe there are other victims.

This was the first of two incidents this week involving a suburban coach and an underage female victim. On Tuesday, charges were announced against Christopher Frum, who is accused of having an affair with a 16-year-old girl while employed at Cheer Alliance in St. Charles.
