Gary Sinise To Donate To Injured Local Veterans

$25,000 Check To Be Presented With Lt. Gov. Quinn

CHICAGO (CBS) ― Actor Gary Sinise is in Chicago Thursday to present a donation to injured local veterans.

Sinise, who was born in south suburban Blue Island and founded the Steppenwolf Theatre, will be joined by Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn Thursday afternoon to present the $25,000 check.

The money, raised in part by Sinise's Lt. Dan Band, will be help build a facility for families of injured servicemen being treated at Hines VA Hospital in the western suburbs.
