D. Babbo Natale

The answer is B. Clement Moore wrote "The Night Before Christmas." Virginia O'Hanlon was the 8-year-old girl who wrote the New York Sun asking if there was a Santa Claus, to which the paper famously replied: "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus." Babbo Natale is what they call Santa Claus in Italy.
