Harvey Man Killed In Fire

HARVEY, Ill. (STNG) ― A man in his 60s was killed during a fire Tuesday night in his south suburban Harvey home.

The man, whose name is not being released, suffered third-degree burns at 15833 Lexington Ave. in Harvey, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office, which said he was pronounced dead on the scene.

The fire started at the Lexington Ave. address about midnight, according to a Harvey Fire Department dispatcher.

The fire was reportedly at an apartment building, though a Web directory lists Lisa Daycare at that address.
