1 Dead In Multi-Vehicle Crash In Crestwood
CRESTWOOD, Ill. (CBS) ―
A Country Club Hills man was killed in an early-morning crash that closed Cicero Avenue in south suburban Crestwood for more than four hours, authorities said.
Police responded to the multi-vehicle crash about 5 a.m. at Cicero Avenue and Calumet-Sag Road.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office confirmed a man in his 50s was killed in the crash and was pronounced dead at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey at 5:54 a.m. The man remained unidentified Thursday morning.
The SouthtownStar is reporting the man was from Country Club Hills.
Crestwood police could not be reached for further comment on the crash as of 10 a.m.
