Power Outage Cancels Classes At Columbia College

3 Campus Buildings In South Loop Affected

CHICAGO (CBS) ― Columbia College has canceled classes for the day in three buildings due to a power outage in the South Loop.

The power outage has forced Columbia to cancel classes at 1306 S. Michigan Ave., 1312 S. Michigan Ave., and 1415 S. Wabash Ave.

Classes are to resume in all three buildings on Wednesday, college officials said.

ComEd officials said the power outage began at noon and affected 360 customers. Further information on the outage was not immediately available.
