There's reportedly a problem in the construction of the Chicago Spire. Crain's Chicago Business says Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava has stopped working on the building, saying the developer hasn't paid him millions of dollars.
Calatrava has filed a lien against Ireland-based Shelborne Development.
The company says there are questions about the amount of money Calatrava claims he's owed, and that the company will dispute the lien.
