CHICAGO (CBS) ― Bears fans are gearing up for the big game Sunday, and, fans hope, beyond. CBS 2's Dana Kozlov reports on the letter that's thrilling some season ticket holders.

Lifelong Bears fan Steven Lutz's band compsed a musical Bears cry. But Wednesday night, Lutz really had something to sing about.

"I jumped up and down and went 'Wooooo!'" said an excited Lutz.

The letter that made Lutz jump around informed the season ticket holder that if the Bears win on Sunday, he has the option to buy two Super Bowl tickets -- at $650 each.

"I can not wait. Go Bears! It's once in a lifetime," Lutz said.

Chicago medic Bill Sckalias was just as excited to pick up his single ticket for this weekend's divisional championship game at ticket broker Stub Hub's North Side office for a little less than $500.

"I wasn't gonna go over 600," Sckalias said.

"It's now the third highest selling event in Stub Hub's history," said Craig Cucinella of the ticket broker company.

And then there is everyone else who can't afford a ticket to Sunday's game. All of them will be forced to watch it on their recliner or couch.

Apparently, that's caused a lot of fans to rush out and buy new television sets.
At Abt Appliances in Glenview, owner Mike Abt says sales this week have spiked by about 25 percent.

"I was at the Bear game last week and I have four people come up to me and say, 'Hey I really need a TV. If you can get it installed before the game, I'll do it. If not, I can't,'" Abt said.

When it comes to the Bears, "can't" doesn't seem to be in any fan's vocabulary.
