NW Side Accident Sends 4 To Hospitals

CHICAGO (STNG) ― A traffic accident on the Northwest Side sent four people -- two of them minors -- to hospitals in serious to critical condition Monday afternoon.

Fire crews responded to the accident at Oak Park and Grand avenues at 12:53 p.m., according to Fire Media Affairs spokesman Richard Rosado.

An EMS Plan I, which sends five ambulances to the scene, was called.

Four people were taken to hospitals in serious to critical condition, Rosado said. Two adults were taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and two minors were taken to Children's Memorial Hospital, he said. The ages and genders were not immediately known.

The EMS Plan was secured at 1:04 p.m., Rosado said.
