R. Kelly Hearing Postponed

Pre-Trial Hearing Rescheduled For Next Friday

CHICAGO (CBS) ― A pre-trial hearing in the R. Kelly case has been postponed.

The R and B singer, whose real name is Robert Kelly, arrived at the criminal courts building this morning.

Kelly is charged with child pornography in connection with a tape that allegedly shows him having sex with an underage girl.

His attorneys want prosecutors to give say when the tape was made.

Kelly's attorneys are also asked the judge to dismiss the charges.

The hearing is now scheduled for next Friday.
