Dentist Accused In Prostitution Ring Free On Bond

CHICAGO (AP) ― Newsradio 780 is reporting that a Chicago dentist is free on bond after declaring he is innocent to federal charges that he assisted an interstate prostitution ring.

The indictment charges that Gary Kimmel gave a pimp named Blue Diamond $400,000 worth of late model cars and also provided him with access to some of the ten Marina Tower condos he owns.

Dr. Kimmel is free on $100,000 personal bond.

Kimmel's attorney Joseph Lopez says Kimmel was just swept up in the investigation of others. He points out that Kimmel was not involved in prostitution, that the allegations are part of a money laundering case.
