Planning Department Approves Fordham Spire

Completion Set For 2010

CHICAGO (CBS) ― The City of Chicago Planning Department has approved the Fordham Spire, a residential and hotel tower.

Developers say that at 2,000 feet, it will be the tallest structure in the United States.

It will be located at Lake Shore Drive and North Water Street.

Completion of the spire is set for 2010.
