Jail Inmate Hospitalized After Brawl
Injured By Makeshift Knife
CHICAGO (CBS) ―
A Cook County Jail inmate is in the hospital after a vicious brawl Sunday.
A 22-year-old inmate suffered a chest wound when he was hurt by a makeshift knife.
Authorities say the fight involved about 20 inmates at the Chicago prison.
Another inmate was transported to the hospital but it was later determined he was not injured, only covered in blood.
Several other inmates suffered less serious injuries.
