CHICAGO (CBS) ― Immigration activists protested Wednesday night in the Albany Park neighborhood, alleging they had been intimidated by police.

The demonstration was held in front of the Albany Park District police station, at 4650 N. Pulaski Rd. Dozens of demonstrators chanted for justice and denounced racial profiling.

A Latino man claimed that he was stopped by two officers in plain clothes wearing U.S. Border Patrol caps, who questioned his immigration status.

Chicago Police said if the officers were wearing U.S. Border Patrol caps while on duty, they were breaking the rules. An internal investigation has been launched.
