Missbrenner Juror: There Were Doubts
CHICAGO (CBS) ―
The jury foreman in the case of Adrian Missbrenner is speaking out in today's Chicago Tribune.
He said as difficult as it was to watch this case unfold, there were doubts.
After hours of deliberations, the jury acquitted Missbrenner of sexually assaulting a Naperville woman who was 16 years old at the time.
The videotaped incident played a pivotal role during the trial.
"Clearly we knew what those young men did was wrong," said juror foreman James Patrick. "Clearly, they took advantage of her. But there was reasonable doubt."
