It's the weekend, and the Super Bowl is finally on the horizon.
CBS 2 Chief Correspondent Jay Levine reports some big Chicago celebrities are in Miami for the big game.
You probably won't see them with ordinary fans on Ocean Drive, but at least four members of our informal ranking of top 10 Chicago celebrities are definitely here or coming. Three are not. And we don't yet know about the other three.
Oprah has a place to stay, a home on nearby Fisher Island, but won't be here.
No word yet about Michael Jordan.
With only Mayor Daley the only Chicago politician planning on being in Miami for certain, the Super Bowl will be close to a spin-free zone.
Sen. Barack Obama will be watching at home. So will fellow senator Dick Durbin and Gov. Rod Blagojevich.
Among men of the cloth, the Rev. Jesse Jackson is here.
"It's zero in Chicago and the Bears down here [are] coming out of hibernation and gonna chase those Colts," Jackson said in Miami.
Cardinal George isn't in Florida, but tells CBS 2 he is a big Bears fan and even has a bet with the bishop of Indianapolis: Indiana pork chops against Chicago ribs.
Hugh Hefner's Saturday night Playboy party at American Airlines Arena is the hottest ticket in town, but there's no indication Hef or his playmates are going to the game. It's a pajama-free zone.
From the entertainment world, Bill Murray, a rabid Chicago sports fan, is going to be in Miami.
Mike Ditka is in Florida, of course, as everybody's expert.
We haven't seen Ernie Banks.
Our apologies to those we didn't mention, but come game day, we can promise you there will be a huge list of the who's who down in Miami.
