Police warned would-be Super Bowl ticket buyers to be on guard for scams and counterfeits. Legitimate tickets have a hologram of the Super Bowl logo and the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Police in south Florida are warning anyone who is trying to get tickets to the Super Bowl to watch out for counterfeit tickets and scams.
CBS 2 Chief Correspondent Jay Levine reports many Bears fans are waiting until the last minute in the hopes of snagging tickets online or at Dolphin Stadium on game day. And there are people waiting for them, too. People they really ought to avoid.
"In each Super Bowl the problem is more prevalent. So we expect nothing different this year," said Commander Robert Parker of the Miami Dade Police.
That's not good news for Chicagoans without tickets.
"I was here for a wedding but I'm thinking about going to the game," said Bears fan Mark Oppenheim.
Jeff Wolski of Oak Lawn says he's planning on going to the stadium Sunday and trying to get tickets outside.
Wolski's search for tickets is made easier because scalping is legal in Florida, but it's still buyer beware.
According to the NFL, more than 1,000 people arrived at the Super Bowl game with counterfeit tickets in hand.
The only difference between one counterfeit ticket and the real deal was a hologram of the Super Bowl logo and the Vince Lombardi trophy.
Whether you are buying tickets in person -- from someone like Jennifer Stoskopf, concierge at the Palms Hotel or online from a company like Stubhub.com -- the official marketplace of the NFL -- you have got to be careful.
Stubhub and other reputable resellers guarantee the tickets they sell. But the true test is the hologram. It's on all authorized merchandise.
If the hologram changes from Super Bowl logo to Lombardi trophy depending on the angle you look at it, you know its the real deal.
