Bears Fans Heading Out For Last-Minute Shopping

Bears fans are still gearing up for their Super Bowl parties tonight and many of them probably still need to pick up some last minute food or supplies.
CBS 2's Mai Martinez reports that one Dominick's store in Streeterville is ready for the last minute rush and is expecting record sales on Sunday.
Employees have been at the store since midnight restocking the shelves after a record sales day on Saturday, a record the store expects will be broken on Sunday.
The store manager says that's thanks in part to eager football fans buying snacks for Super Bowl XLI.
Dominick's is offering everything from traditional snack foods like chips and dip to trays of deli meats and prepared food like ribs, fried chicken and vegetable and cheese platters.
Store managers say Bears fans are buying everything and cold temperatures are driving sales up.
"Yesterday I was here and there had to have been at least a dozen customers come up to me and say 'It's going to be so cold tomorrow, we've decided to stay home. We're going to do our party at home, we're having a couple friends over.' So I'm getting a lot of last-minute trays," said deli manager Terry Brace.
In addition to all the food, there are also plenty of sweets to choose from, many of them decked out in Bears blue and orange, and those are the most popular items right now.
Don't worry if you still need food for your party, though, managers said there's plenty of time to come in and pick up a tray. They range in price from $25 to $50 and they feed 15 to 25 people.
