NIU Reschedules Sports After Tragedy

DEKALB, Ill. (AP) ― Northern Illinois University has revised schedules for its sports teams following last week's deadly shooting attack on campus.

All athletic competitions were suspended for ten days following the shootings at Cole Hall.

The men's basketball team will host Western Michigan on Tuesday. It'll be the first home sports contest since February 15th. The Huskies will not make up games at Toledo and Tennessee State originally scheduled for this week.

The women's basketball team will play Ohio at home on March 3 in a make-up game. It won't reschedule games against Central Michigan and Toledo.

Several teams also won't make up canceled games. They include softball, women's indoor track and field, men's golf and wrestling.
