IDOT Teams With NASCAR To Promote Safe Driving

CHICAGO (CBS) ― Governor Rod Blagojevich is getting some help from one of America's most popular sports to promote safe driving.

The governor is teaming with NASCAR to encourage people to fasten their seat belts and stay sober behind the wheel.

NASCAR fans will be asked to sign pledges at two big races in July at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet.

Fans can also sign pledges here. Drivers who promise to not drink and drive will be eligible for random prize drawings.
