Flight Veers Off Runway At Denver International Airport

Continental Flight 1404 veered sharply off a Denver International Airport runway during takeoff on Dec. 21, 2008, burst into flames and nearly broke apart.

The entire right side of the Boeing 737 was burned in the Saturday evening accident and melted plastic from overhead compartments dripped onto the seats.
