  The Democratic National Convention Committee says they will credential a record number of bloggers to cover the event this summer.

Convention officials say 124 bloggers received credentials, more than tripling the number four years ago when 30 blogs got access to the convention in Boston.

Director of online communications for the convention Aaron Myers says the bloggers will get to witness history in the making.

Convention officials earlier this month granted credentials to another 55 blogs to represent each state and U.S. territories and Americans abroad. Those bloggers will have access to the convention floor and will be seated with their state delegation during the event Aug. 25-28 at the Pepsi Center.
