Gov. Rod Blagojevich's chief counsel has quit.
Blagojevich spokeswoman Kelley Quinn said William Quinlan resigned his state government job Tuesday. Quinn didn't give a reason.
Quinlan is the latest top adviser to Blagojevich to resign since the Chicago Democrat was arrested on federal corruption charges earlier this month.
Blagojevich has been accused of trying to sell President-elect Barack Obama's former U.S. Senate seat to the highest bidder. The governor has denied doing anything wrong.
