A 45-year-old man has been charged in the fatal beating of a south suburban woman in the Back of the Yards neighborhood Sunday evening.
Kimberly Foucher, 40, was apparently beaten and strangled in what police said was a domestic-related incident Sunday.
Police were notified of a domestic-related homicide at 5120 S. Damen Ave. about 6 p.m., police News Affairs Officer JoAnn Taylor said.
Foucher, of 13940 S. Wentworth Ave. in Riverdale was apparently beaten and strangled at the Damen Avenue address, a spokesman for the Cook County Medical Examiner's office said.
