Teen Killed In Ukranian Village

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) ― An 18-year-old male was fatally shot early Sunday in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood.

The man was shot about 2 a.m. in the 1700 block of West Erie Street, police News Affairs Officer Laura Kubiak said.

Alfredo Perez, of 2618 W. Haddon Ave., died at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County at 2:55 a.m., a spokesman for the Cook County Medical Examiner's office said.

Harrison Area detectives are investigating.
