1 Dead, Several Others Shot Overnight
4 Incidents Reported On West Side
CHICAGO (CBS) ―
A 26-year-old man is dead and at least three others were shot in separate incidents on the West Side overnight.

Map Of The ShootingsKilled was Octavius Daudridge, of 3051 W. Walnut St. Daudridge was pronounced dead at 10:40 p.m. at Stroger Hospital of Cook County, which said Daudridge was shot at 3459 W. Chicago Ave.
About 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, police found him dead of a gunshot wound on the sidewalk on Chicago Avenue.
Earlier, a man was shot multiple times in the 1700 block of West Cullerton Street about 9:15 p.m. and taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, the report said.
One person was taken in serious to critical condition to Stroger Hospital of Cook County, according to Fire Media Affairs spokesman Richard Rosado.
The man was in the back of his house when the shooting occurred and was the intended target, according to Monroe District police Lt. Gerald Koch.
The shooter, who was unknown to the victim, was outside the house and shot through a back door, which was probably closed at the time, the lieutenant said.
No one else was hurt, according to the lieutenant, who said the shooting is believed to be gang-related.
Koch said the shooter has not been caught as of 2:45 a.m.
In a third case overnight, two men were shot in the 700 block of North Elizabeth Street on the Near West Side.
One victim, a 31-year-old man, was taken in good condition to Stroger with gunshot wounds to his legs, and the other, a 20-year-old man, was taken in critical condition at Stroger with gunshot wounds to the abdomen.
The 31-year-old man observed a car pass by, heard gunfire and then realized that he and the 20-year-old had been shot, police said.
In a fourth case, a 24-year-old man's condition was reported as stable at Mt. Sinai Hospital. Police say he was shot in the back and the leg while standing on the sidewalk in the 4900 block of West Van Buren Street.
Harrison and Grand Central Area detectives are investigating the shootings.
