Tornado Warning Issued In Kankakee County

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. (CBS) ― A tornado warning has been issued for southern Kankakee and northern Iroquois counties until 6:30 a.m.

A strong rotation was detected in a severe thunderstorm 11 miles northwest of Clifton, Ill., according to the National Weather Service.

The tornado warning was canceled by 6:30 a.m. It was not immediately learned whether a tornado actually touched down.
