Authorities released a 3-D sketch of the suspected gunman who killed five women in a south suburban clothing store Feb. 2, 2008.
Authorities have released a new 3-D sketch of the gunman who murdered five women in a Tinley Park clothing store this winter.
The computer-generated composite image was created by the Tinley Park Police Department and South Suburban Major Crimes Taskforce in cooperation with the surviving victim of the Feb. 2, 2008 shooting inside a Lane Bryant store, according to a news release.
The description of the suspected shooter has not changed, according to the release, but the new composite shows a more lifelike depiction.
A $100,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest of the man authorities say shot and killed five women, and left a sixth for dead.
NASA is helping investigators blow up stills from the morning of the shooting to try to identify a possible getaway car.
Detectives are also running fingerprints they have gathered from the scene. They have eliminated some of those prints, but not all.
A huge number of tips has been called in to the Tinley Park Police Department and investigators have sifted through thousands of them with no luck yet.
