3 Men Shot On West Side

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) ― Three men are in "stable" condition Friday night following a shooting on the West Side in the Garfield Park neighborhood Friday evening.

The men were shot on the 3900 block of West Van Buren Street about 5:02 p.m., according to a report from the police First Deputy Superintendent's office.

A 30-year-old man was shot in the left foot, another 30-year-old man was shot in the leg, and a 29-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the face, police said.

All three were initially taken in serious condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Fire Media Affairs Chief Joe Roccasalva said.

The three men are said to be in "stable" condition Friday night, police said.

Police have no information about a shooter Friday night.

Harrison Area Detectives are investigating.
