Taste Of Chicago Preview Comes To Daley Plaza

'Taste Of Taste' Is On From 11 a.m. To 2 p.m. Wednesday

CHICAGO (CBS) ― Be sure to bring your appetite to Daley Plaza over the noon hour Wednesday, because vendors have set up for a preview for the Taste of Chicago.

For the first time ever, the Taste of Chicago is holding a sneak preview for the public, dubbed "Taste of Taste."

The sneak preview is on from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Daley Plaza, at Dearborn and Washington streets, and will feature several vendors selling menu items priced from $2 to $5.

Participating vendors include Garrett Popcorn Shops, Arya Bhavan vegetarian Indian restaurant, Blue Bayou, Lagniappe-Creole Cajun Joynt, and Sabor Latino.

There will also be a performance from the band The Eli Story, who will also appear at the Taste on June 26 at the Illinois Lottery Taste Stage.

The actual Taste of Chicago runs from June 26 to July 5. It's the 29th annual edition of the festival.
