3 Critically Injured In West Side Stabbing
CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) ―
Three people, including two women, are in critical condition after being stabbed Monday morning in the West Side Austin neighborhood.
Emergency crews responded to a stabbing at 4921 W. Superior St. at 11 a.m., according to Fire Media Affairs Cmdr. Will Knight.
Two people were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition and one was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, also in critical condition, Knight said.
Two of the victims were women in their 20s and one was a man, according to unconfirmed fire dispatch reports.
Police could not immediately provide information Monday morning.
Grand Central Area detectives remained at the scene as of 11:45 a.m.
