Toddler Hospitalized After Being Hit by Car

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) ― A three-year-old boy was injured after walking into the path of a car Sunday afternoon on the South Side.

The the boy walked from between parked cars into the path of a car about 12:50 p.m. in the 1200 block of West 78th Street, police News Affairs Officer JoAnn Taylor said.

The boy was taken to University of Chicago Comer's Children's Hospital in "stable" condition and was not believed to be in a "life-threatening" condition, Taylor said.

No citations were issue, Taylor said.
