Son Shoots Father In Buttocks After Argument
CHICAGO (STNG) ―
A man who shot his father in the buttocks after an argument in the Calumet Heights community on the South Side had not been taken into custody as of late Monday night.
The incident occurred at 12:15 a.m. Monday when the two "got into it'' and the son shot his father in the buttocks at 9337 S. Manistee Ave., according to a South Chicago District police sergeant.
The father was transported to Stroger Hospital of Cook County in serious condition, according to the sergeant.
Police said the son has not been taken into custody as of Monday night.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
