Woman Harasses Planned Parenthood Workers
AURORA, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) ―
Police in west suburban Aurora are looking for a woman who harassed and battered employees of the local Planned Parenthood in October.
On Oct. 1, 2008, three women working for Planned Parenthood took a work break around 11 a.m. and walked to a nearby grocery, according to a release from Aurora police.
A woman allegedly followed them to the store, making derogatory comments about their line of work, the release said.
When the employees were about to enter the store, the woman grabbed one of their hands and, while the employee attempted to pull away, grabbed her arm.
The employee told the woman she was going to call police and the woman fled, the release said.
The suspect is described as a white female in her late 30s to early 40s, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-8, 130 to 145 pounds with dark, short hair.
Police issued a photograph of the suspect, who was wearing a pink or salmon-colored winter jacket with jeans and white gym shoes.
Anyone with information is asked to call Aurora police at (630) 801-6655.
