Police Investigate After Oswego School Lockdown
OSWEGO, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) ―
Police are looking for answers about a bullet found by a student inside a west suburban high school that prompted a lockdown Thursday afternoon.
Oswego police said the lockdown at Oswego East High School at 1525 Harvey Road was precautionary and done to allow police and school officials to conduct a search.
The search found no additional items of concern and the lockdown was lifted around 2 p.m. Students resumed their regular schedule at that time.
