Child Struck By Car On North Side
CHICAGO (STNG) ―
A child was seriously injured after being hit by a car Friday evening in the North Side's Old Town neighborhood.
A child was hit by a car at 322 W. Evergreen Ave. about 7:15 p.m., according to a Near North District sergeant, who was citing preliminary information.
The child was taken in "trauma" condition to University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital after being hit by a car, according to Fire Media Affairs Chief Joe Roccasalva, who did not know know the child's sex or age.
Crews remain at the scene at 7:45 p.m.
