Search Continues For Missing Downstate Brothers
Duncan And Jack Connolly Were Allegedly Kidnapped By Their Father

An Amber Alert has been issued for Duncan Connolly, 9, and brother Jack, 7.

The search continues Thursday for a possibly suicidal father who abducted his two young sons in central Illinois on Sunday.
Police have been searching for Michael L. Connolly, 40, and his two sons, Duncan G. Connolly, 9 and Jack D. Connolly, 7, since
their father failed to return the boys to their mother in downstate LeRoy Sunday after a court-ordered visit.
"We are searching everywhere," a McLean County Sheriff's Department deputy said Thursday. Police said an Amber Alert issued Monday remains in effect.
On Monday, it was reported that Connolly may be heading towards northwest suburban Hoffman Estates, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. They are believed to be in a in a gray Dodge Dynasty with Illinois license plate A326109.
The McLean County Sheriff's office activated the Amber Alert when the subject did not return his children to his wife at the Police Department in LeRoy, Ill., on Sunday, according to the Amber Alert Web Site.
A felony warrant for kidnapping was issued on Monday, according to police.
His son Duncan, 9, 3-foot-6 and 66 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a scar on his upper lip on the left side and a birthmark on his right thumb, the Amber Alert said. He was last seen wearing a green coat, burgundy hooded sweater, black shirt, and black pants with a red stripe.
The younger child, Jack, is 3-foot-4 and 62 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, a scar on his right eyebrow and a surgical scar behind his right ear, the Amber Alert said. He was last seen wearing a red and blue coat, blue shirt and red and blue pants.
Their father is 5-foot-8 and 175 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
The father and his two children are of Asian descent.
