Fans Line Up For Last Day Of Lollapalooza

CHICAGO (CBS) ― Lollapalooza's third and last day of music begins in less than an hour and will be capped off with dueling concerts from Nine Inch Nails and Kanye West this evening.

CBS 2's Pamela Jones reports that fans are already showing up to Grant Park, lining up to see Nine Inch Nails. The group is scheduled to take the stage at 8:15 p.m.

The crowd got a little rowdy last night. Police say there were no major incidents, but they are keeping security extra tight tonight to keep it that way.

"You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug...," one concert goer sang.

He's belting out his favorite Nine Inch Nails tune - all fired up for tonight's concert at Lollapalooza.

"That would be ultimate dream, to play for Nine Inch Nails," he said. "Just the way he pieces the music together is just amazing. The guitars, the drums… it's just amazing. This is my first time seeing 'em. I can't wait."

Fans are checking out the rules of the venue. They want to make sure their visit to Grant Park goes smoothly. Fans say the energy some of this year's artists are pumping can't help but to stir the crowd into frenzy.

A woman waiting in line for tonight's concert still bears battle bruises from last night's Rage Against the Machine performance. She says some fans had to be restrained by police.

"A lot of people were passing out around me," she said. "It was rough, but worth it."

She says the excitement fans have displayed in the past two nights is likely to be repeated on the last night of the festival because of the quality and history of the band.

Gnarls Barkley takes the stage at 6:15 p.m., Nine Inch Nails takes the stage at 8:15 p.m. and Kanye West hits the AT&T stage at 8:30 p.m.
